The “Standpoint Theory” is shared with us by theorist Sandra Harding and Julia T. Wood stating the fact that “the social group groups within which we are located powerfully shape what we experience and know as well as how we understand and communicate with ourselves, others, and the world.” As we all have a clue that “standpoint” is a place from which the way we depict things that surround us. Sandra and Julia identifies the standpoint with shared meaning such as viewpoint, perspective, outlook, and position. Finally, the best way to way to find how the world operates, is to begin the examination from the viewpoint of women and other groups on the restrictions of society.
